A Book with No Letter E

A Void is the english translation of the French lipogrammatic novel La Disparition, written in 1969 by Georges Perec entirely without the letter “e”.  It is consided to be one of the greatest works of "constrained writing" ever produced.

Equally impressive is the fact that it was translated in to English, again with no “e”, by Gilbert Adair in 1995 - a feat which earned him a Scott Moncrieff Prize.
